Google Maps Depopulated

Whilst looking in the suburbs I noticed that everything was quiet. Too quiet. On the satellite view there was nobody around. The only cars on the road were parked. The streets were entirely empty otherwise.

What about the busy places? They were as empty as everywhere.

Google has removed all people from the view of the world.

The shadows of heads still appear by benches. Where people definitely would have been at the time of the morning for long shadows, the people have been replaced by clumsy mushrooms.



Google has used artificial intelligence to remove all people from their map of the world.

But why?
